One month later…
Time had passed and Stealth and Bri’s lives had changed drastically. After a month of lying around, Stealth decided his leg had healed enough to walk. Bri object, but he walked anyways. After that, Bri barely saw Stealth. Sometimes she would find him sleeping or a fresh mouse by the mossy log…But other than that, it was like he wasn’t there. They never talked.
Bri had gotten over Skye’s lie but she didn’t talk with her anymore. The only cat Bri ever talked to was Snow. Bri was alone most of the time. She thought a lot…about feelings…about ideas.
After another few weeks, Bri saw Stealth awake- the first time in almost two months. She had just caught a magpie and was going to put it in the mossy log to save for later. When she climbed down the tumbled rocks by the bridge, she noticed Stealth. ‘He looks much stronger…his fur is beautiful.’ she

[light blood warning due to battle scene and such]
“Retreat!” ,a yowl split the air.
“Are you mad, Stealth?!” hissed Lantern above the sounds of battling cats, “You know the rules- no retreating!”
“It’s that or die.” Stealth spat. He turned around and hit a blow to a ginger tom. The cat staggered and ran off.
“Please, you’re handling them fine.” Lantern hissed.
“Right. I’m about to black out…then I won’t be able to.” He turned around, revealing a deep wound in his shoulder. He was already bleeding badly from dozens of scratches all over him, “Lantern, look around you. Our cats are badly wounded. They’re only fighting because they have to. If we don’t leave, we’re going to lose a lot of cats.”
“You are not in charge! You’re barely more than a half member, filth!” Lantern flung his forepaws

“Never go near prey you didn’t kill! Never ever again! Ever!” Skye licked her daughter as she fretted.
“Skye, for the last time, I know…It won’t happen again!” Snow hissed.
Shade sat at the entrance of the old rabbit burrow, their home, and tried not to laugh. “Mum, just let her go inside and sleep. It’s after sunset.”
“Yes…I do suppose we should all go in after a long day…” Skye mumbled, “You best be off too Bri.” Skye nodded to the silver-blue cat, “Thank you…”
Bri smiled, “Goodnight…” She nodded to the family and disappeared through the reeds. She wanted to stay. She wanted to make sure Snow was alright and that Skye wasn’t dying of worry. Bri truly want to care about her adopted family but it was hard when all she could think about was meeting Shadow.
The nervous cat hurried to get to the bridge. It ha

[Ten months later…]
The smell of growth was in the breeze as it weaved through the thick branches of London planes in the overgrown park. A full grown she-cat with silvery blue fur was stalking a mouse as it searched for seeds. The cat dived for her prey and easily killed it. She smiled as the breeze blew through her fur.
She suddenly lay low as she slowly stalked toward a fern. The breeze had carried a scent toward her. She quietly went back to her mouse and hid it in a bush and then stealthily went back to stalking her new prey.
She saw it now- it was a rabbit. The silvery blue cat stalker closer and closer to it and she didn’t make a sound. But too soon into the hunt, and her tail hit the edge of a fern…The rabbit went flying into the brush, fleeing from its hunter. The she-cat didn’t give up, though. She dived toward it and followed it through the little forest of a park.
As she ran after the rabbit she saw a flash
